About the Role:

We are looking for the Head of AML to join our global management team.

You will work closely with CEO and C-level team and be responsible for ensuring the effective mitigation of financial crime risks through the maintenance of adequate systems and controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor AML and Compliance functions within the Company
• Lead the implementation of the AML law and regulations in different regions
• Ensure that Cryptology operates within the terms of licenses’ conditions and other applicable laws, directives, and regulations
• Overseeing and improving the approval process of high-risk customers
• Conduct and oversee internal reviews and audits periodically to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
• Represent compliance oversight both internally and externally to regulators, auditors and partners
• Establish methods to improve efficiency and quality of services, and to reduce the vulnerability to fraud and abuse
• Inform, educate, and train employees on matters that are associated with regulations and industry practices
• Ensure and verify that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field
• Relevant certifications
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position as AML Head/Compliance Head/AMLRO
• Experience working with different regions and regulations
• Strong knowledge of AML legislation and other applicable laws
• You have a sense of urgency and an ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing, taking responsibility, and working to tight deadlines
• Great verbal and written skills in English
• Meticulous attention to detail
