Now we are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join our portfolio project team.

Tasks:

• Restructure our collection of companies under one cohesive holding company
• Transfer licenses, IP rights and create service-level agreements between our companies
• Draft contracts and agreements with our commercial and business partners
• Deal with external parties such as outside counsel and regulatory bodies
• Communicate effectively with senior management with legal opinions
• Work closely with the legal, compliance, financial and HR departments
• Set up companies with complex licensing and service-level agreements
• Participation in legal due diligence and financial audits
• Draft policies and procedures where needed and keep existing policies and procedures up to date
• Assist and advise the business in maintaining an efficient group structure.
• Take ownership of the relevant corporate law responsibilities in the jurisdictions in which the business operates.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law
• Over 5 years experience in the following:
  • Top tier law firm, with areas such as:
    • Corporate/M&A
    • Commercial
    • Banking
    • Finance
  • Various jurisdictions, such as:
    • UK (Common Law in general)
    • UAE
    • KY
    • SC
    • AM
  • Big Four
  • Regulatory body
  • Cryptocurrency or fintech company
  • (Optional) The UAE, litigation or a software company
• Experience in writing agreements such as SHA, LOI, TS, MoU, SPA
• Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic business approach.
• Fluent English
