CryptoBot is one of the largest products on Telegram for buying, selling, exchanging, and transferring cryptocurrency. We have an active international userbase, with a key trading volume in CIS countries. Our MAU is hundreds of thousands of users. Our team is currently looking for a Compliance Manager to join us and help make our product even better.

What youʼll be working on:

Building and maintaining compliance policies from scratch:

  • Developing, updating, and implementing key regulatory documents related to KYC, AML, and CFT.
  • Creating processes for internal audits without involving additional staff (hands-on approach).

Due Diligence and KYC procedures:

  • Defining and implementing due diligence procedures for both new and existing customers (based on risk levels).
  • Configuring and improving current KYC processes, including those based on Sumsub.
  • Developing internal checklists and guidelines for colleagues.

Collaboration with the product team and management:

  • Participating in the creation and adjustment of products/processes (e.g., transaction limits, fraud monitoring).
  • Preparing recommendations to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Regularly communicating with top management about emerging risks and plans to minimize them.

Incident and fraud investigation:

  • Identifying and investigating suspicious transactions, compliance violations, or fraud.
  • Developing recommendations and measures to prevent recurring incidents, improving processes based on identified vulnerabilities.

What we expect from the candidate:

  • Experience in compliance and understanding of the financial sector (AML/CFT/KYC, 2-3 years): in financial companies, banks, fintech, or crypto related projects.
  • Knowledge of FATF international recommendations, AML/CFT requirements, KYC, and Due Diligence principles.
  • Experience working with Sumsub.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in different jurisdictions (at least basic awareness of EU or US requirements).
  • Basic understanding of the cryptocurrency market (exchanges, wallets, blockchain), ability to analyze transactions.
  • Ability to structure information and develop internal compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Fluency in Russian.
