We are looking for an intellectually curious and hardworking individual with international experience and key expertise in areas of finance, accounting, controlling and tax to help our group of companies prepare for continued rapid growth. This role is responsible for being the Finance leader within the group of companies, with an emphasis on forecasting, planning and reporting. This role presents the opportunity to work with international teams across the group and it’s multiple portfolio companies (Web2/Web3/VASP). This position will report to the CEO of the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Processes/Policies: Establishment of budgeting/payment/reporting policies and procedures of the Group; continual improvements and optimization of processes and policies that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Group;
• Budgeting: coordination and participation in Group budgeting/forecast process, analysis of budgets, consolidation;
• Reporting: coordination the preparation of monthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annual financial reporting for the Board/CEO/Investors; participation in monthly/quarterly financial reviews with management, participation in Board meetings; preparation of consolidated group management/financial reports;
• Compliance: compliance of all relevant financial regulations in different jurisdictions (UAE, BVI, UK, Armenia); transfer pricing compliance;
• Audit: organization/coordination/participation in annual audit of the Group;
• Tax: participation in tax planning of the Group, identification and mitigation of tax risks in cooperation with tax advisors, dealing with relevant local tax authorities;
• Team management: share knowledge and where relevant coach other team members, assist the Group with the recruitment, retention, development and performance management of finance staff;
• Other:
• Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships/staking providers and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position (both crypto and fiat);
• Assistance to CEO/COO/Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities;
• Liaising with external service providers (auditors, tax advisors, accounting firms).

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, professional qualifications will be highly appreciated;
• Prior experience as CFO/Group Finance Manager/Head of Finance and Accounting;
• Understanding of crypto, experience working a for a crypto/blockchain related business;
• Interest and ability to build things from scratch;
• International work experience;
• Ability to work well in an unstructured and fast paced environment;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Outstanding organizational skills;
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
