Through our venture initiatives, we are creating a collaborative community of multi-million-dollar companies that develop unique services in The Open Network (TON) Blockchain ecosystem — the first crypto technology adopted by mass audiences.

Now we're looking for a Head of Legal (Regulatory and Compliance) to join our legal team in a portfolio project.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory research & advisory: Conduct in-depth research on global regulations, working with external advisors to guide senior management and product teams on legal implications.
  • Risk identification & solutions: Proactively identify regulatory risks, recommend solutions, and support the business in maintaining compliance.
  • Implementation of regulations: Translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps, ensuring seamless integration into business practices.
  • Compliance reviews: Lead reviews of new projects, ensuring they meet all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor crypto regulations: Stay updated on evolving cryptocurrency laws and keep the business informed of key changes.
  • Policy development: Implement and maintain compliance policies, ensuring they align with current regulations and business objectives.
  • External relations: Build relationships with regulatory bodies and manage external counsel as needed.
  • Hiring a high-performing team and Building effective workflows.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (10 + years) in financial law and compliance in a financial institution.
  • A higher education and a degree in law.
  • Interest in blockchain.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of identifying compliance risks and potential vulnerabilities, advising on best practices to effectively and efficiently address those findings.
  • Strong understanding of international regulations, particularly in the UK, EU.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to grasp new ideas and concepts quickly and use them effectively.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
