We're looking for a highly skilled Lawyer to support our global HR operations across multiple jurisdictions. This role is key to ensuring the legal soundness of our employee and contractor relationships and internal HR practices in a fast-evolving, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Contractual and Employment Support:

  • Handle employment and contractor-related legal work across various jurisdictions.
  • Draft and review full-cycle HR documentation — from offers and onboarding to termination and exit packages.
  • Mitigation of risks arising out of personnel relationships classification; mitigate risks through clear policies, internal guidelines, and legal frameworks.

Benefits & Risk Mitigation:

  • Draft and review agreements and documentation related to personnel benefits (insurance, equipment, etc.).
  • Develop and review policies concerning non-compete, conflict of interest, and other personnel-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and IP assignment obligations..
  • Ensure compliance with pension schemes, workplace safety and insurance for work-related injuries

Vendor & External Agency Management:

  • Support contractual work with external recruitment and staffing agencies.
  • Manage legal matters related to third-party contractors for insurance, office leases, branded merchandise, and similar needs.

Dispute Prevention & Resolution:

  • Provide legal support in disciplinary procedures and personnel-related disputes (including those around conflicts of interest, confidentiality, etc.).
  • Act as a mediator in personnel conflict resolution — working closely with HRBPs across various personnel-engagements models.

HR Process Advisory:

  • Support and advise HR teams on legal aspects of people processes.
  • Deliver training sessions to HR teams on employment laws and regulations topics.
  • Monitor regulatory changes in employment laws and regulations across relevant jurisdictions and advise on impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid legal background with a focus on contract and employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience working in or with fast-paced international companies, preferably in tech/startup environments.
  • Strong understanding of EoR models, contractor frameworks, and cross-border employment and independent contractors risks.
  • Excellent English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to balance legal compliance and business goals.
  • Mediation skills or experience resolving sensitive workplace issues is a big plus.
