We’re looking for a strategic and sharp-minded International Tax Advisor to join our venture-building team and take ownership of complex legal and financial structuring challenges across jurisdictions. You’ll work directly with founders, CFO, and legal to solve tax puzzles, optimize cross-border ownership structures, and support high-stakes decisions in a fast-moving Web3 environment.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the go-to expert for cross-border tax and structuring queries at the intersection of legal and finance.
- Develop creative, legally sound solutions for international set-up and compensation, holding structures, dividend flows, and relocation scenarios.
- Analyze corporate and personal tax implications across jurisdictions (e.g., UK, UAE, EU, USA and offshore).
- Perform deep research and create memos on structuring options; liaise with external legal/tax advisors when needed.
- Help design compliant compensation models using tools like smart contracts or advisory agreements with side letters.
- Support company setup, M&A, and new market entries from a structuring perspective.
- Become a core player in establishing this function — with potential to scale it into a dedicated unit with its own team and budget.
What we expect:
- 7+ years of experience in international tax structuring, corporate law, or financial/legal advisory.
- Strong track record in VC, family office, or private equity environments.
- Experience working with jurisdictions such as the UK, UAE, USA, EU and offshore structures.
- Solid understanding of both corporate and personal taxation (CIT & PIT).
- Demonstrated ability to navigate founder-specific cases (e.g. relocation, equity payouts, multi-jurisdiction income).
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver well-reasoned, actionable solutions under time pressure.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with crypto/Web3, tokenomics, or vesting models.
