What does an event manager on the InterCom team have to do with these epic goals? Everything!
Our job is to raise the bar for conversations across teams and portfolio companies, create spaces for collaboration and transparent communication, and make sure everyone is informed, united — and having a lot of fun along the way.
It’s not just about events for one company. It’s about events, communities, and communication flows across 20+ companies, all working together on something that’s never been built before. And you could be right at the center of it — backed by a team that’s always ready for the next adventure.
Responsibilities:
- Own our internal event calendar: create concepts and lead the charge on online, offline, and hybrid events.
- Choose and communicate with locations, venues, vendors — whatever it takes to make our events hit the mark.
- Constantly gather feedback and evolve formats together with both stakeholders and audiences.
- Partner up with different teams and communities — they’ll be your go-to co-conspirators.
- Work closely with our Design team on merch capsules and comms templates.
Requirements:
- You’ve got experience with all kinds of events — from sports marathons and gaming championships to hybrid parties and strategic leadership sessions.
- Coming up with goal-driven ideas is second nature, and so is getting them done.
- A confident host and facilitator who can also coach others to step into that role.
- Not afraid to pull off a competition-based event in 2 weeks and a mini offsite in 2 months.
- A best friend to legal, finance, and vendors — totally used to juggling approvals and contracts across a bunch of legal entities and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and comfortable working with global teams across 50+ countries and cultures.
Why it is a fantastic opportunity:
- Our business is growing at an exponential scale.
- Non-bureaucratic management that focuses on results.
- Regular performance reviews to assess your progress.
- Remote setup with access to our hubs in Dubai, Yerevan, London and Belgrade.
- Compensation for medical expenses.
- Provision of necessary equipment.
- 20 working days of paid vacation annually.
- 11 days off per year.
- 14 days of paid sick leave to support your health and recovery when needed.
- Access to internal conferences, English courses and corporate events.
