Video Production Lead

TON Society Team seeks an experienced and creative video producer to design, build, and manage a new video function reporting to the Head of Brand. The role aims to add video as a regular medium alongside all written, visual, and audio media already produced by the TS Brand team. This will involve scriptwriting, storyboarding, staff hiring, set design, and scheduling. You will also determine and enforce budgets for shooting, editing, and equipment costs.
The ideal candidate will have managed the video creation for brands end-2-end from creation of the narrative, through to final cut. They should be crypto native, able to understand and simplify complex blockchain concepts, highly creative, with meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute: develop and implement video concepts across various formats, including short ads, shorts/reels, post-event videos, documentaries, podcasts, and news segments.
- Web3 storytelling: dive deep into the TON ecosystem, crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences and tell the story of TON its community and projects.
- Creative quality control: oversee the consistency and quality of video content throughout all stages of production. Supervise and collaborate with external specialists, including creative agencies, video production teams, and motion designers.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with designers, event managers, and marketers to achieve shared KPIs. Your role will influence outcomes and drive the analysis of results.
Qualification
- Experience: over 3 years in video production, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to develop and communicate creative concepts.
- Storytelling and copywriting expertise: ability to integrate text and visual narratives, crafting concepts even before final scripts are available.
- Industry knowledge: be truly crypto-native, familiar with industry trends and best practices in copywriting, motion design, and visual storytelling.
- Team player: while you work well independently, you thrive in a collaborative environment, valuing the input of others and effectively arguing your own ideas.
- Detail-oriented: meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Vision-driven: you think deeply about the impact of your ideas on people and are committed to creating meaningful content.
- Project Management: capable of managing multiple video projects simultaneously, from briefings to execution, while coordinating with freelancers and agencies.
- Communication skills: exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for selling ideas internally and securing budgets for major projects.
