Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled technical leader to take on the role of Head of Development. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on professional with a proven track record in backend development, a strong grasp of frontend technologies and DevOps principles, and a passion for managing and mentoring engineering teams. You will work closely with the CEO/CTO to fulfill the company’s technical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of the company's products and services, ensuring high-quality execution.
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to engineers across backend, frontend, and DevOps domains.
• Take ownership of technical reliability, ensuring optimal performance of systems and products.
• Proactively prepare the team and infrastructure to address and overcome potential technical challenges.
• Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the company’s technical vision and roadmap.
• Oversee code reviews, deployments, and other technical operations to uphold best practices and ensure efficient workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with backend development (Go, Rust, or C++ preferred) and a solid understanding of frontend technologies and DevOps.
• Previous experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers.
• Experience in managing and maintaining production systems, including monitoring, debugging, and emergency response.
• Ability to supervise and be fully in charge of technical delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
