As a key member of our legal team, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring Wallet operates smoothly within legal frameworks while championing innovation in the Web3 ecosystem. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, you'll assess legal and commercial risks, develop corporate strategies, and fortify governance frameworks for our platform. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll provide expert guidance on corporate governance, contract negotiations, and intellectual property protection.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.
• Lead efforts in corporate structuring and tax optimization to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Conduct thorough legal reviews of policies and governance frameworks to align with business objectives and regulations.
• Advise on establishing and maintaining corporate entities to support expansion and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance teams on financial reporting and compliance strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements to protect company interests.
• Offer strategic guidance on intellectual property matters to safeguard assets and innovations.
• Stay informed on evolving tax laws and industry trends to identify optimization opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on corporate law matters to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Hold a legal degree with a license to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• Bring 7+ years of legal experience, focusing on corporate law, tax optimization, and governance.
• Demonstrate expertise in corporate structuring, tax planning, and financial reporting.
• Possess a strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Have a proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Showcase comprehensive knowledge of intellectual property law.
• Exhibit excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Prior experience in technology, fintech, or blockchain industries is preferred.
