- Engage with banks and other financial and crypto institutions, representing the company on various topics before banking partners and regulators. Foster collaboration and establish partnerships with financial and crypto institutions.
- Participate in the creation of procurement policies, negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, and reduce unnecessary expenditures or underutilized resources.
- Assess risks associated with the company’s business activities, participate in the development of a company-wide risk management strategy alongside other teams, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Share knowledge and, where appropriate, mentor team members. Support the company in recruitment, retention, team development, performance management, and advising on promotions.
- Organize and lead the opening of new company offices or business units across various jurisdictions, handling the full setup process from A to Z.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of cryptocurrency and experience working in a crypto business (VASP/regulated environment).
- Experience in payments, electronic money, or financial services/crypto business operations. Risk and compliance experience in the financial/crypto industry is highly valued.
- Proven track record as a head of operations or operations manager.
- Demonstrated ability to “get the job done.”
- Exceptional organizational and teamwork skills, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities. Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-output professional environment.
