We are in search of an experienced System Administrator with a strong emphasis on security to oversee and support our expanding array of user devices within a geographically dispersed environment. The primary focus will be on the setup, maintenance, and surveillance of user laptops, predominantly operating on Windows OS, with a subset operating on OS X. Responsibilities encompass ensuring smooth device operations, security system updates and integration, backups, and hardware inventory management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain user devices, including Windows and OS X laptops.
  • Implement access control measures and user rights restrictions.
  • Maintain records and monitor employee equipment inventory.
  • Resolve technical issues for users and deploy necessary software.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware and software malfunctions.
  • Proficiently manage local security policies in Windows environments.
  • Develop and execute an IT infrastructure plan for managing user devices.
  • Monitor and backup operating systems and user data.
  • Integrate and support antivirus solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in similar positions of multinational tech companies.
  • Extensive experience with Windows systems, encompassing client versions (Windows 8/10/11) and server editions (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with AD/GPO).
  • Fundamental knowledge of MacOS.
  • Understanding of OS and software licensing principles.
  • Practical experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting to automate tasks.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to swiftly troubleshoot intricate technical problems.
  • Autonomy in making well-informed and reasoned decisions.

  • Stress tolerance.

Additional skills (knowledge of methodologies, tools, software):

  • MDM: JAMF (MacOS),
  • Google Workspace
  • Office 365 (intune, Entra ID)

Language:
