We are seeking a Linux Network Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience across multiple organizations to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Linux-based networking, automation, and building resilient infrastructure services. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of network architecture, and a willingness to be part of an on-call rotation for production systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy software-defined networking solutions to ensure seamless connectivity between servers across multiple locations.
  • Develop and maintain host-based firewall configurations, including iptables, nftables, and eBPF, to ensure robust security and operational consistency.
  • Architect and implement Layer 4 load balancing solutions to support high-availability (HA) systems.
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to manage firewall rules, collect NetFlow data, and enforce access control policies for internal networks.

What you should have:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IPSEC, etc.).
  • Proven experience with Linux-based overlay networks, using technologies such as StrongSwan/Libreswan, GoBGP, and FRRouting (FRR).
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools VictoriaMetrics and Grafana.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Ansible.
  • Solid troubleshooting and logical thinking skills in a production environment.
  • Intermediate English proficiency (B1 or higher), with the ability to communicate effectively in technical contexts.
