Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution natively embedded into Telegram’s interface. Backed by The Open Platform, Wallet in Telegram gained 100M+ user accounts in 2024, and aims to make its solution available to all 1BN+ of Telegram’s users. Wallet in Telegram offers a dual-wallet experience with Crypto Wallet (a multi-chain wallet for trading and sending crypto to contacts) and TON Wallet (a self-custodial wallet with access to the TON ecosystem of dApps and tokens).

We are looking for a strategic technology leader to head our Data Department and elevate our analytical platform to the next level. In this role, you will lead a team of Data Engineers and Analysts (including the finance unit), drive AI integration, and spearhead data automation for key business functions, including Marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and scale the Data Engineering and Analytics units (including financial analytics).

• DWH Strategy & Architecture: Oversee the architectural development, scaling, and maintenance of the company’s DWH.

• AI Transformation: Implement AI-driven solutions to optimize DE pipelines and automate analytical processes within the crypto domain.

• Marketing Automation: Build end-to-end analytics and automate attribution, segmentation, and data-driven marketing campaign optimization.

• Data Visualization & Governance: Expand the reporting ecosystem using Apache Superset and establish high standards for Data Governance.

Tech Stack:

• Storage: ClickHouse.

• Orchestration & Transformation: Airflow, dbt.

• BI: Apache Superset.

• AI/ML: To be defined by you (we expect your expertise in selecting the best tools and approaches for DE and Analytics).

Requirements:

• Data Management Excellence: Proven track record of building and managing robust DWH architectures.

• Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineers + analysts).

• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of ClickHouse, dbt, and modern data engineering practices.

• MarTech Proficiency: Understanding of marketing technology and experience in automating analytics to drive growth.

• AI Vision: A forward-thinking mindset with a practical interest in applying AI/LLMs to analytical and operational workflows.

• Industry Context: Experience in or a strong passion for the Crypto/FinTech industry.
