About the job

@Whale is a fast-paced, no-nonsense web3 company with one mission: deliver and make an impact. Things change quickly, and we adapt just as fast. We’re a small, agile team that doesn’t do corporate BS; we’re here to get things done and build something legendary.

In one year, our main project, @Whale, has grown from a team of 3 to 25, and we’re only getting started. Now we’re looking for a UX/UI & Visual Designer who’s just as fast, sharp, and adaptable as the projects we take on. At Whale, we believe in cutting the fluff and making an impact, and our designers play a crucial role in building the visual identity and user experience of our projects, like @Whale.

You’ll juggle tasks that range from crafting scroll-stopping banners for social media and acquisition campaigns to designing seamless, user-focused product interfaces, or creating 3D Designs. If you thrive in a high-energy, ever-evolving environment and want to see your work come to life in a big way, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Visual Storytelling: Design eye-catching banners and assets for social media campaigns, acquisition, and brand initiatives that stop users mid-scroll.
  • UX/UI Mastery: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to shape intuitive digital experiences across web and mobile platforms and also Game Art UX/UI.
  • Artistic Direction: Set and maintain a consistent visual tone, aligning all creative output with brand guidelines and the company’s bold, no-nonsense ethos.
  • Hands-On Production: Develop a variety of graphics, icons, animations, and design elements for both marketing and product needs.
  • Brand Design: Define and evolve the visual identity of Whale project, ensuring a cohesive and bold aesthetic across all platforms while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Marketing Graphis: Craft compelling visuals for campaigns, promotional materials, and socialbanners.
  • Data-Informed Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs and ensure maximum engagement.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, marketers, and developers to align visuals and UX/UI with business goals.
  • Trendspotting: Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing fresh ideas while steering clear of overused effects like gradients (you’ve been warned!).

Why You’ll Love It Here

You’ll be part of a team that’s redefining what it means to work fast, grow fast, and succeed big. With @Whale and other innovations, every day is a new opportunity to learn, create, and leave a mark. If you’re a designer who asks questions, finds answers, and delivers designs that speak louder than words – we want you on board.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven Track Record: You’ve got experience as a UI/UX Designer and a portfolio that shows off your design chops and ability to lead with vision.

  • Tool Proficiency: Master of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar tools – you know them inside and out.

  • Creative Production Skills: You can create stunning graphics, icons, animations, and everything in between.

  • User-Centered Approach: A deep understanding of design principles that put users first, with an eye on usability best practices.

  • Creative Vision: Your attention to detail and aesthetic flair set you apart.

  • Team Player: Clear communication and collaboration come naturally to you, and you thrive when working with others.

  • Agility Under Pressure: Fast-paced environments don’t scare you – they fuel your best work.

  • Background in Design: A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is a plus but not a dealbreaker – talent speaks louder than credentials. ** What You'll Get**

  • Competitive Pay: We reward talent and hard work.

  • Room to Grow: Opportunities for professional development and taking your skills to the next level.

  • Creative Culture: A collaborative environment that values innovation and big ideas.

  • Exciting Projects: Be part of badass work that makes an impact.

We'd love to hear from you if you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and design your way into something legendary. Let’s make magic together.
