About Tonguard

Tonguard is at the forefront of data processing for the TON blockchain. Since its inception in 2021, Tonguard has been a cornerstone in compliance and security services within the TON ecosystem, enabling compliance specialists to perform effectively. Our team is made up of engineers with expertise in artificial intelligence and data analysis.

In 2024, Tonguard became part of Whales Corp AG, a Swiss holding company that also issues VISA and Mastercard cards for cryptocurrency programs across Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Central Asia.

We are now looking for an experienced Chief Business Development Officer to lead our sales strategy, drive growth, and establish key partnerships. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to directly shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Full Sales Cycle: Take charge of managing the sales process for the largest B2B accounts. From identifying new sales channels to generating leads and crafting tailored commercial proposals.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate long-term relationships within the TON community and identify new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and marketing teams on various initiatives, ensuring business objectives are met.
  • Represent Tonguard Externally: Attend industry conferences, meetups, and presentations to increase Tonguard's visibility and credibility within the market.
  • AML Product Expertise: Become the internal subject matter expert on our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions, providing guidance to both internal teams and clients.

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, specifically within PaaS or SaaS environments, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and writing skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of fraud prevention, compliance strategies in fintech, or traditional banking operations is highly desirable.
  • Autonomous & Proactive: You’re highly self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English, with native-level Russian fluency.
